Two Kinds of People

September 19, 2017

I ride motorcycles (mostly British Motorcycles), I just love the Triumphs! I also climb trees, weird combination right? Tree climbing, biker from TN. If you know me, you know I am weird, crazy and kind of goofy most days. That is not why I am writing, I am writing because of the things that people say. What is an example of that?

There are only 2 kinds of tree stand people: Those who have fallen, and those who will. Period.

Or then there is this one: There are only two kind of bikers, those who have gone down, and those who are going down.

Don’t you love when people speak death and pain into your life?  LOL!

While I do not agree with this theology, I can say that the bible tells me there are only two kind of people in the world. Only two.  We break it down into Baptist, Pentecostals, Catholics, Muslims, Atheist, Agnostics, and every other sort of race, creed, color and denomination. But Jesus kind of sums it up in Matthew 9:36

It says he has compassion (heartbroken) because the people were “as Sheep without a Shepherd”. Did you get that? He didn’t call out denomination, or even sin. He simply said they are like Sheep without a Shepherd.

Today, I would challenge you, Don’t look at people for what they do, the color of their skin, ethnic diversity, age, size or even their knowledge or common sense. Look at them like Jesus does, they are only two kinds, Sheep with a Shepherd, or Sheep without a Shepherd. Our job is to take the Shepherd to the lost Sheep, not judge what kind of Sheep.

They say there are those who have been down, or are going down, fallen or going to. I say, and more importantly Jesus says: They are Sheep, either with or without a Shepherd… Isn’t it time you share the Shepherd with someone today?
